LOW BUDGET SOLUTIONS FOR Second Life® 

Second Life® does not need to be expensive. In fact it can be extraordinarily inexpensive! The advertising and sponsorship options mentioned below involve projecting your company image to people already using Second Life® within the Virtual Scottish Highlands - our own sim. ADBOARDS

At the bottom end of the scale are our Adboards as seen here. These are at various places around the Virtual Scottish Highlands and are available for advertising of all descriptions. Each board contains around 20 slots and each slot appears for approximately 30 seconds. This means that an advertisement appears for 30 seconds every ten minutes. However, there are usually several adboards in each pod and a single slot can appear on every board in the pod so your advertisement could be appearing somewhere in the Virtual Highlands much of the time.

The advertisement is clickable and this opens a window for the clicker to be taken directly to your website. Alternatively, of course, they could be taken to your main presence in Second Life® providing further integration to your marketing.

A single slot in a board costs just 20p per week or just £10.40 per annum. Such a low base cost permits businesses to purchase multiple slots.

A further option is to buy all of the space on a particular adboard for £25 per month.

SPECIFIC ATTRACTION SPONSORSHIP

We have certain areas within our Scottish Highlands sim which can be sponsored directly. These are the Nessie Quest game, the Crystal Maze, the Scottish Heritage Game, the Loch Ness Exhibition, the Story of Scotland Exhibition, Fort Augustus Abbey, the Loch Ness Inn, Inverness Castle and so on.

Sponsorship of the Crystal Maze would cost £50 per month including the prize money. The Nessie Quest game £120 per month, the exhibitions from £30 per month so none will break the bank.

INFORMATION POINTS OR SHOPS

From around £2 to £4 per month you can rent a building within the Scottish Highlands sim and populate it yourself. If we are to do the set up for you then this increases to £25 for the first month, thereafter the normal rent.
